MS Outlook Add-in cannot login

You cannot login to the NovoCRM Express Outlook Add-in with a invalid license error but it works from the NovoCRM Express Win and Web Client.

The MS Outlook Add-in supports both MS Outlook 2007 (Office 12) and MS Outlook 2003 (Office 11). Based on your MS Outlook client you may need to use the specific installer for your MS Outlook version.

Resolution

The IsLicense40.dll file is missing in the execution path of the Add-in... this can be copied over should it be missing.

Select the NovoCRM Express menu in MS Outlook and click on Info. This will show you the exectuable path. Copy the IsLicense40.dll to the path from the NovoCRM Express installation folder.

Restart MS Outlook. You should now be able to login as normal.
