Windows 7 loading issue UAC


Error:
When NovoCRM Express is installed on Windows 7 the first time you start the application it just closes (crashes).

Cause:
In Windows 7 the connections.xml file is not created because of a security restriction in Windows 7.

Resolution:
Go to the installation folder for NovoCRM Express and create a new file called Connections.xml. Now start NovoCRM Express again and add new connections.

You can also email support and we can send you the Connections.xml file to use with a pre-setup connection.

The latest version of NovoCRM Express released after 24th March 2010 has the UAC fix built in and this issue should no longer appear
