Cannot add or update records in Windows 7 for MS Access database
Error:
When you open up NovoCRM Express and login you cannot add new records or update existing records when you use the default MS Access database.
Cause:
The database is read only in Windows 7 when it is installed in the Program Files folder.
Resolution:
Go to the installation folder and right clck on the folder called database. Now uncheck teh read only option and press ok. This will fix the issue and you will now be able to add and update records.
We recommend that you use MS SQL for multi user environments when you run NovoCRM Express.
